Citroen test drives and old friends
Harold invited me to go with him to the Citroen HQ along Leng Kee Road for a test drive (part of some SMA/SDA invite), and it was a fun expedition: made all the more fun because the first sales staff that we approached for help turned out to be Francis! He was an acquaintance from NUS who used to be in Arts Bytes, sitting in the AS1 and/or AS7 labs, approving my print jobs.
Yes, I obviously spent a lot of time in the computer labs.
I test-drove a C4 Coupe VTS 2.0 Manual (pictured car) - Harold signed me up for it before I arrived, figuring that I'd enjoy it better than the automatic cars, which was something I really didn't expect him to pick up on, so brownie points for him, woohoo - and it was such an amazingly smooth ride, in spite of my unfamiliarity with the car.
Harold tested the C1 SX 1.0 Manual, which admittedly, has less power (1.0 versus 2.0 litres, hello?), but it had FOUR DOORS versus the two doors that the C4 had, which is a huge plus, in my humble, humble opinion. I'd buy the C1 over the C4, because of the cost, and the door factor. Both cars ride equally smoothly, but the price difference is 100% - the C1 costs $55K, while the C4 costs $95K!
We didn't win the lucky draw trip to Paris - it would have been perfect if we had since I like to travel and he loves France, and both of us speak French passably - but all in all, a very pleasant night out without hurting the pocket past transportation. And all before 930pm!Libellés : church, personal

They do make a 4-door Citroen C4 as you see on their site. The 2-door coupé style version does look nice but I agree that a 4-door is more practical, especially for transporting lots of friends or family :)
