"Très très bien!"
Distressing news of the day - I may be the worst student in my French class, or the most honest. While other students are busy guffawing at some joke or other, I'm frowning my brows off trying to understand what's going on. I'm not sure if that means that most of the class understands, or if I'm the only one who doesn't bother to pretend to understand. This works out to be approximately 4 hours of frowning per week - excellent for wrinkle-development, I hear.
It's so bad that I have become that student - you know, THAT one. The one whom teachers STOP the whole entire discussion just because I LOOK like I want to say something. And when the sentence slowly stutters out, I get an enthusiastic "Très très bien!", even though I've conjugated all the verbs in the wrong tense.
["Très très bien!"]
