|   The UNSW Asia AffairThe Singapore papers seem to have covered it from the student angle - The New Paper and ChannelNewsAsia both focussed on the "shock" that the disenfranchised students experienced, and their resultant unhappiness and confusion. On the other hand, Australian press says that it's a "blow to the city-state's ambitions to be the region's leading centre for education".
Don't you just love how many ways you can spin a story?

I'm just sorry for the students - it looks like they've been given a raw deal, though the whole thing is a little suspect: if money was a problem, how did the problem get so big? And if money were really the problem, I think EDB should help them out a little more: stop the Changi campus, and stay in Kay Siang Road, have more tie-ups with more universities, and not just UNSW - maybe get them to partner up with another foreign education provider like MDIS?
