3x10 - Man in the Mud. Murder-lite, relationship heavy. I'm glad to see John Francis Daly get more screen time - all the more props to him because he was part of the Freaks and Geeks crew (always a massive plus).
I'm also wondering (amid figuring out what George Clooney's appeal actually is) what it is about FBI agents on screen that makes them so hot? See Keanu's Jack Traven (Speed), Fox Mulder, and now, of course, Seeley Booth (stupid names seem to rule the latter two characters.) I'm sure FBI agents aren't as hot in real life. But hey, even if you want to just compare on-screen representations of the Bureau vs some other investigative team like, say the CIA, the Agency just doesn't come off as well - look at the mess that Alias descended into. In the end, Michael Vaughn wasn't even named Vaughn (instead, he had some poncy French name, Andre.)
Okay, moving away from the rant. Recap - Bones is back, and now I have three cute guys to entertain me on one show. Talk about a one-stop entertainment centre. Gripe - why is the girl always doing the dirty work with the autopsies or the digging or the icky stuff? I appreciate letting the guy stay clean and looking like he smells nice, but it would also be nice to see some muscle. Anytime next week would be nice.
