Reading Facebook/Tweet updates - the posts, photos and paraphernalia gives us a really skewed outlook on life. Everyone's always either having fun or being embarrassed. Nobody really suffers, and nobody really hurts. So real life and real living burrows deeper inside us, and the frosting on the outside gets harder and more opaque.
